With so much going on at the Combat Base interclub, I thought it was only fitting that I’d do a separate post on Doug getting his Purple Belt from Helen Currie.
Those who know Doug, will attest to his ice cold demeanour and his highly technical game that characterises each and every roll he has.
Whether as an athlete or coach he has been an integral part of shaping the way Factory BJJ has grown and become a really exciting place to train.
We’re all really proud of you Doug and at least now we can all feel a little easier about you running rings around us on the mat!
