Adam Adshead – 2nd Degree Black Belt

Adam started his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey in February 2004. He gradually ascended through the ranks until he earned his Black Belt in November 2014 from the esteemed Chris Haueter in Los Angeles, California.
As a seasoned competitor, Adam has showcased his skills on the international stage, participating in prestigious events such as The World Championships, The Pan Ams, and The No Gi European Championships. Notable accomplishments in the Under 64kg division include submitting a Brown Belt World Champion at the 2012 IBJJF European Championships and clinching victory at the 2017 IBJJF London Open as a Black Belt (both in the adult divisions), plus most recently won Gold at the 2024 London Open (Master 3 – Black Belt).
Adam has also proudly represented Team UK at the Polaris Squads event in 2020 and engaged in super-fights from 2016 to 2021. With a record of 1-1-1, he continues to share his wealth of knowledge in both the kids and adult classes.
Gareth Ogden – Black Belt

Gareth (Gaz) Ogden has over 30 years of martial arts experience, having trained in Karate and Muay Thai from the age of 7 before finding Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in his mid-20s. In that time, he has earned a 3rd degree black belt in Karate and a black belt in BJJ. He has competed internationally in respective arts, medalling at black belt in the European and World Karate Championships and in BJJ from white to brown belt.
Professionally, Gareth works in performance psychology, specialising in leadership and talent development. Having worked with clients from business leaders and media professionals to world level athletes, he currently works with global organisations – developing systems and approaches designed to optimise talent and improve business outcomes. His professional work is very much embedded in his approach to learning Jiu-Jitsu.
Steve Feeney – Black Belt

Steve Feeney’s martial arts journey originated in boxing, evolving into a passion for grappling in 2003. As a full-time MMA coach, Steve’s expertise extends to coaching Cagewarriors-level fighters and training novice boxers for a prominent White Collar Boxing promotion.
A gold medalist at the IBJJF Amsterdam open in 2018, Steve’s Jiu Jitsu style blends sport and self-defence, emphasising solid fundamentals. A patient and positive coach, Steve teaches both Gi and No Gi in our No Gi and Day Time classes.
